Here's a few pictures from the nursery, hopefully everyone is staying warm during this colder weather. Just be happy that's it's not snowing like a year ago. Remember to keep fresh water out for the birds. We just had a bird hit our sliding glass doors, had to bring it inside to warm up, sure enough once it warmed up it off it flew.

Winter Weather

Ok it's starting to get a little colder at night now, Lance asked me last night if we needed to bring our Lemon, Banana and Ginger plants and I said na we can wait till the weekend, well I should of listen to him we got down to 34 at our house and the Nursery was down to mid 20's. It's always colder at the Nursery so we have already put everything in the greenhouse that is tender.

If you have tender plants that need to be protected, we suggest using remay to cover then.
Keep birdbaths filled with clean water.
Water shrubs under the eaves, the cold weather pulls the moisture out of the plants
If you planted Spring Bulbs and they are starting to come up already, that is OK the cold weather will not bother them in fact they like cold weather.

Make sure you cover your tender plants with remay, or move them to a protected area, we are starting to get a little colder at night time
